David, a trained Imagery Guide and counsellor, has worked with Wilderness Rites of Passage for adults and teenagers in this country for nearly 30 years. 

Over that time his work has focused mainly on youth, working both independently and also through organisations such as Painswick Inn, a Steiner based project in Stroud.

David trained in Deep Spontaneous Animal Imagery with Stephen Gallegos of the Institute for Visualisation Research, Santa Fe, New Mexico, and Margaret C Vasington, MA, who received her degree in Counselling psychology from Antioch/New England Graduate School.

David also apprenticed to the late Sun Bear, a Chippewa Medicine Man for 8 years.

He is a fully qualified “Wilderness Rites Of Passage” guide, having trained with Steven Foster and Meredith Little at “The School Of Lost Borders” in Eastern California. He is a 2nd degree Reiki practitioner and has been trained in The Metamorphic Technique. 

He also trained with Arthur Lincoln Pauls in “OrthoBionomy”, the science of intuitive and interactive healing which readjusts and aligns unequal and opposing energies within and around an individual to achieve a final
balanced unity of body, mind and spirit.
